Osage County officials are planning to review a previously issued burn ban Thursday.
The ban was originally issued Wednesday until further notice. Details on the reason for the review are unknown at this time.
Meanwhile a burn ban is still in place for the city of Emporia. This notice is effective until further notice and is in place following a recommendation by the Kansas Department of Health to voluntarily reduce burns in an attempt to conserve emergency response personnel.
