There are 6 new positive coronavirus cases in Lyon County according to Fridays Lyon County Public Health report.
There are now 23 positive cases and five presumed positive case. 15 are female and 13 are male.
According to the latest update from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment 83 people have been tested in Lyon County.
Greenwood County reported its first positive coronavirus case Friday.
Coffey County currently has the second-highest number with 21. All of the cases in Coffey County are connected to Life Care Center in Burlington. So far a total of 30 cases have been connected to the center.
Statewide there are now at least 629 total positive cases. That’s an increase of 75 cases from 11 am Thursday.
There have been 17 deaths reported in Kansas due to coronavirus.
