Four more positive COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in Lyon County.
According to the latest update from Lyon County Public Health, the current number of positive cases now sits at 16. Additionally, there are four presumed positive cases in the county at this time.
Of the positive and presumed positive cases, five had traveled before showing symptoms while 15 had not. The cases range in age from 11 to 80 with the most cases, seven to be exact, having been identified in individuals ranging in age from 51 to 60-years-old.
All individuals have been quarantined in accordance with guidelines from the CDC and Kansas Department of Health and Environment. Lyon County Public Health wishes to remind residents to follow proper social distancing, maintaining six-feet of distance for no longer than ten minutes at a time, as well as proper preventive measures to help reduce the spread of COVID-19.
