The total number of positive COVID-19 cases in Kansas now sits at 319.
That information came as a part of the Kansas Department of Health and Environment’s daily COVID-19 update Sunday. According to the report, the majority of the cases have been identified in male residents with 163.
The ages of patients range from four to 90 years old and 55 cases have led to hospitalization as of Sunday. So far, six deaths have been reported in the state due to coronavirus.
As of Sunday Johnson County had the highest number of positive cases with 101. In the KVOE listening area, Coffey County had the highest number of positive cases with eight followed by Lyon County with seven.
