Five of our area’s seven counties are now officially under separate stay-at-home orders, and Chase County adjusted its order late Friday.
Chase County had originally listed mandatory 14-day quarantines for people who had traveled to Johnson, Douglas or Wyandotte counties since Wednesday. It has now added Sedgwick County to that list.
The Kansas Department of Health and Environment, meanwhile, has expanded its mandatory 14-day quarantine if residents have traveled to Louisiana or anywhere in Colorado since Friday. Previously, the quarantine included a handful of Colorado counties along with states like California, Florida, New York and Washington since March 15 as well as Illinois and New Jersey since Monday.
KDHE is still telling people who were on a cruise ship or who traveled internationally since March 15 to quarantine themselves for two weeks.
