With all the item shortages at grocery stores, big box retailers and convenience stores the past two weeks, it may seem odd to hear there is ample supply of many of those items. However, Redline Trucking owner Kevin Nelson says that’s the case.
Nelson says “there is still food moving and it’s moving strong.” He adds the federal government has also lifted some restrictions, notably with hours of service, so trucking companies can get products delivered faster to stores and warehouses than under normal circumstances.
Nelson says Redline is doing what it can to keep its employees safe, whether it’s drivers, maintenance workers or front office staff.
