More county government operations across the KVOE listening area have been altered due to coronavirus.
Osage County commissioners are keeping one door of the county courthouse open while commissioners have open meetings, but all other offices will be locked and available by phone or appointment only.
This follows action by Wabaunsee County commissioners to limit courthouse hours from 8 am to 3 pm. The county Health Department is doing immunizations by appointment Mondays and all other county buildings are closed to the public.
Lyon, Chase, Greenwood and Morris counties have all closed their respective courthouses and told residents to handle their county business, including paying bills, by phone, fax, mail, email or online methods.
