A woman who allegedly did not appear for a sentencing hearing and was also considered armed and dangerous in Wabaunsee County has been captured.
Amy Jean Roth, 34, allegedly did not show up for a hearing March 3 on a felony burglary count and had been sought by Wabaunsee County authorities since then. She was announced as arrested Monday.
Roth is also a person of interest in an alleged burglary and theft where guns were taken. Wabaunsee County Sheriff Rob Hoskins has declined to offer more details, saying the case is under investigation.
Roth has a prior conviction for theft in Pottawatomie County in 2017, and she is listed as having absconded from custody three times before her release a year ago.
Word on court dates and potential charges are pending.
