The past week has seen recommendations change repeatedly on how to handle coronavirus, and two new sets of recommendations were issued Sunday.
Kansas Department of Health and Environment is now recommending a 14-day home quarantine for residents who have traveled to other states with higher numbers, visited parts of Colorado in the past week, traveled on a cruise ship or internationally on or after March 15 or received notice from public health officials they have been in close contact with a confirmed COVID-19 patient. Another shift came shortly after Governor Kelly’s news conference. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention are now recommending no gatherings of 50 people or more for at least eight weeks. Click here for details.
