USD 251 North Lyon County is the latest district to call of classes for the start of the week.
The district announced Sunday afternoon on its website students will not report for classes Monday. However; staff will still need to report at which time they will review plans to continue providing their students with the best educational services possible amidst the growing pandemic.
At this time, classes are set to resume as normal on Tuesday.
Parents are asked that if their student traveled outside of the state or country during spring break to contact the county health agency at (620)-208-3741 to conduct an over the phone COVID-19 screening. If students are feeling unwell the district asks they remain home.
As the coronavirus situation is constantly developing the district promises it will “continue to be on top of any changes that may occur” and will keep students and families informed as best they can.
