The Emporia State tennis teams were defeated by regionally ranked Southern Arkansas in duels Wednesday.
The Lady Hornets were defeated 5-2. Cyrielle Peyroche at number 3 singles and Karen Santiago Sanchez at number 5 singles won their matches.
The Emporia State men were defeated 7-0.
Thursday the Emporia State tennis teams play at Oklahoma Baptist.
