Mild and dry conditions have led to a very high fire danger for the area, even with low wind speeds.
Osage County has announced a burn ban through 8 am Wednesday. Emergency Management Director Bryce Romine says the ban may be extended, depending on the weather conditions.
Temperatures will be in the 50s and 60s all week. No rain is expected until early next week. Occasionally breezy conditions are possible Thursday, and Sunday could see widespread breezy conditions based on the current forecast.
