Emporia States Taysean Goodwin was the high point scorer at the MIAA Indoor Track and Field Championships.
Goodwin was part of the 4 by 400 relay team with Brandon Rhone, Guy Ramos and Hayden Goodpaster that finished in 1st place with a meet record time of 3:11.70.
Goodwin finished 2nd in the 60 meter dash with a personal best time of 6.77 seconds.
He finished 2nd in the 400 meter dash. and finished 2nd in the 200 meter dash with an automatic qualifying time for nationals of 21.13 seconds. Goodwin talked with The MIAA Network after his big day.
The Emporia State men finished in 6th place and the women finished in 8th place. Missouri Southern is the mens team champion and Pittsburg State is the womens team champion.
