Charles Snyder scored a game high 31 points to help lead the Emporia High boys basketball team to a 66-56 win over Manhattan Tuesday night.
Skyler Douglas made four 3 point baskets and finished with 20 points. Coach Beau Welch called it a great team win.
The Spartans with the win are now 10-9 and have won 3 of their last 4 games.
Manhattan won the girls game 43-25. Manhattan scored the first 11 points of the game and never trailed. The Lady Spartans did make a run in the 2nd quarter to cut the lead to 21-16 at halftime. Coach Carolyn Dorsey says they will continue to battle.
Emily Christensen was the leading scorer for Emporia High finishing with 7 points.
The Emporia High basketball teams close out the regular season Friday at Junction City.
