Two of Emporia’s veterans organizations are pairing up for activities Saturday night.
The American Legion Auxiliary is hosting a fundraising spaghetti feed at Legion Post 5. On KVOE’s Morning Show this week, spokesman Dennis Paul said both groups are active in the community.
Once the meal is complete, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1980 will host a dance fundraiser featuring The Barbees.
Cost of the meal is $9, while there is a $5 cover charge for the band. Both are open to the public.
