Emporia High diver Reed Slayden can add Centennial League Champion and record holder to his list of accomplishments this season.
Reed finished in 1st place at the Centennial league meet Thursday. He also broke the old League record of 476 with a score of 501.40. That is also a new school record.
In the pool Emporia High had 4 top 10 finishes. The 400 free relay team of Max Piper, Cam Geitz, Andrew Wendling and Cal Kohlmeier finished 5th.
The 200 Free relay team of Max Piper, Cal Kohlmeier, Andrew Wendling and Mason Harmon finished in 6th place.
The 200 medley relay team of Caden Wilson, Mason Harmon, Daniel Knapp and Rudy Bedola finished in 7th place.
Andrew Wendling finished in 7th place in the 50 free with an improved consideration time for state.
As a team Emporia High finished in 7th place. Washburn Rural won the team title.
