It’s Cookie Week for the Girl Scouts of Kansas Heartland.
Local Girl Scouts are encouraged to attend the annual Cookie Kickoff from 6-8 pm Wednesday at the Bowyer Community Building. Then on Thursday, the sale officially begins.
On KVOE’s Newsmaker segment this week, spokesperson Paula Roper said the participating Girl Scouts get a lot of skills. One of the big ones these days is goal-setting.
Girl Scouts will be out door-to-door and will also set up special cookie booths until the sale ends March 22.
Boxes will be $5. The flavors this year will be the same as last year, including Thin Mints, Thanks-A-Lots, Caramel Delites, Peanut Butter Patties, Peanut Butter Sandwiches, Lemonades, S’mores, Shortbreads and the gluten-free Caramel Chocolate Chip.
