The Emporia State Baseball team defeated Colorado State Pueblo 7-3 Sunday afternoon.
The Hornets scored a run on an error in the first inning. Took the lead for good with 5 runs in the 7th inning. Cooper Minnick doubled with the bases loaded to drive in 3 of the runs.
CSU Pueblo won the series 2 games to 1. The Hornets are now 4-2 for the season. They are scheduled to play a 4 game series at Metro State in Denver this coming weekend.
