Don’t have plans for breakfast Saturday? Well, local Boy Scout troop 157 has you covered.
The troop’s annual pancake feed will be taking place Saturday morning at First Christian Church located at 202 East 12th Ave. Scout Master Leon Bryson joined KVOE’s Newsmaker segment Friday to preview the annual event.
Tickets for the pancake feed are $6 in advance and at the door. Bryson says all funds go directly back to the troop to help cover the cost of summer camps and special trips for troop members.
Bryson says these experiences carry a number of benefits for their scouts.
The pancake feed begins at 6 am inside First Christian Church at 202 E. 12th Ave. and will run until 12:30. For advanced tickets contact First Christian Church at 620-342-1582 or speak to a local Boy Scout member.
