Noted children’s author Alastair Heim will be in Emporia on Saturday.
Heim will be at the Emporia Public Library, and his visit to town has two different features. He will offer professional development for early childhood educators from 9-10 am, followed by a public appearance from 10:30-11:30 am.
Heim was supposed to be in Emporia last month, but his appearance was postponed because of weather concerns. He’s known for books like “Quiet Down, Loud Town!,” “The Great Puppy Invasion” and “Love You, Too.”
