US Senate candidate Barbara Bollier will make a stop in Emporia next week.
Bollier will have a campaign stop at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1980 at 6:30 pm Monday.
Bollier currently represents the Kansas Senate Seventh District in Johnson County. She is running for the Senate seat opening up after longtime Senator Pat Roberts retires this fall.
Bollier has several opponents on the Democrat side, including Manhattan City Commissioner Usha Reddi and business owner Robert Tillman. The field is also crowded on the Republican side, including current US Congressman Roger Marshall, former Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach and current Kansas Senate President Susan Wagle.
