Applications are now available for Match Day 2020 through the Emporia Community Foundation.
Applications became available Tuesday and are due by 5 pm Mar. 6th. ECF Program Officer Loni Heinen says there some requirements for organizations to participate in Match Day.
Over the past six years, Match Day has generated a total of $1.1 million for 33 greater Emporia non-profit organizations. Last year ECF received 38 applications for the event and Heinen says they are expecting the same amount, if not more, applications this year.
Heinen also wishes to remind all former participants they must reapply even if they took part in the 2019 Match Day. Match Day 2020 will take place on Nov. 16 at Flint Hills Mall.
