A slow start cost the Kansas State Wildcats in a 73-67 loss to Baylor.
The Wildcats trailed by 16 early in the game. They would cut the deficit to 3 late in the first half but could never tie the game or take the lead. Coach Bruce Weber said the start of the game was to much to overcome.
Xavier Sneed led Kansas State with a game high 23 points.
Cartier Diarra finished with 11 points. Makol Mawien and Montavious Murphy both scored 10 points.
The Wildcats are at Iowa State Saturday night.
