West Virginia out scored Kansas State 66-57 Saturday. West Virginia used a 19-6 run in the 2nd half to turn a 3 point halftime lead into a 14 point advantage. David Sloan was the leading scorer for the Wildcats with 13 points. Xavier Sneed added 11 points. The Wildcats will host Baylor Tuesday.
A last second 3 point basket lifted Tulsa past Wichita State 54-51 Saturday. The game featured 3 ties and 13 lead changes. Jaime Echenique led the Shockers with 15 points and 10 rebounds.
