The Emporia State baseball team opens their season Friday. They will be playing Pittsburg State in the Edmond First pitch classic hosted by Central Oklahoma.
Senior Catcher Cooper Minnick would like to have a better start to the season.
The Hornets will also play Southwestern Oklahoma State Saturday and Henderson State Sunday.
