After two interviews for superintendent last week, USD 251 North Lyon County has two more coming this week, including one Monday.
USD 109 Republic County Superintendent Michael Couch interviews Monday afternoon. He has been Republic County’s superintendent since 2013 and has over 30 years of education experience.
As has been the case with Olpe High Principal Shane Clark and USD 114 Riverside Superintendent Robert Blair last week, there will be a meet-and-greet session at 4 pm followed by the formal interview at the district board office in Americus at 5:30 pm. One more interview is planned Wednesday.
The district is looking for the successor to Mike Mathes, who is ending his two-year term as interim superintendent in June.
