USD 251 North Lyon County has announced its first of four finalists for superintendent.
Shane Clark, currently the principal at Olpe High School, has served with USD 252 Southern Lyon County the last 11 years. The district will have a meet-and-greet with Clark, staff, students and the general public at 4 pm at the board office in Americus. The formal interview follows at 5:30 pm.
The district has officially been working for several months to find the replacement for Mike Mathes, who has been working the last two years on an interim basis and will see his term end in June.
Another candidate will interview Thursday, with other finalist interviews Jan. 27 and Jan. 29. Those candidates will be announced later.
