A contract for predesign work on USD 253’s $78 million facility improvement project will be at the top of the agenda for Board of Education members Wednesday.
HTK Architects will present a contract with Terracon: Consulting Engineers and Scientists to begin conduction geotechnical investigations for all project sites. The total cost for the work is just over $26,000 and is included in the total bond dollars approved back in November.
In other business, board members will receive a Transportant update and review ACT data from the district. Approval of the official meeting time and place for 2020-2021 and the topic of board representation to committees and boards will also be discussed.
One executive session is also planned. The meeting begins at 7 pm inside the Emporia High School Library.
