The United Way of the Flint Hills’ annual fundraising campaign is about to hit a milestone.
Director Mickey Edwards had an update on KVOE’s Newsmaker segment Monday.
This means just under $500,000 has been generated. Goal is $560,000
Edwards stressed donations are used as they are intended.
Community partner applications are currently being reviewed for next year’s drive.
Edwards also says plans are being discussed for the annual campaign celebration this winter. The date will be announced later.
