The Kansas City Chiefs are headed to the Super Bowl for the first time in 50 years after out scoring the Tennessee Titans 35-24 in the AFC Championship game Sunday.
Patrick Mahomes threw 3 touchdown passes and scored a rushing touchdown.
Tyreek Hill caught two touchdown passes and Sammy Watkins caught one.
Damien Williams added a rushing touchdown.
The Chiefs defense held Tennessee running back Derrick Henry to 69 rushing yards and 1 touchdown. Safety Tyrann Mathieu said the defense did what they needed to do.
The Chiefs trailed early 17-7. They would 28 unanswered points to seal the win.
Coach Andy Reid was proud of the teams effort.
The Chiefs will face the San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl 54 on February 2nd.
The 49ers defeated Green Bay 37-20 in the NFC Championship game.
