The Wichita State Shockers led for all but 18 seconds on the way to a 74-54 win over Mississippi Saturday.
Erik Steveson scored a game high 29 points. Jamarius Burton added 16 points and Grant Sherfield finished with 10 points. The Shockers led by as 23 points in the second half.
The Shockers are now 13-1 for the season and have won seven-straight heading into next Thursday’s American Athletic Conference showdown with No. 9 Memphis.
