Lyon County commissioners have two action items on their action meeting agenda Thursday.
Commissioners will consider how to proceed with two communications towers requested by US Cellular, one in the 2300 block of Road G near Americus and the other in the 700 block of Road M near Olpe. Commissioners could approve or deny the requests. They could also send them back to the Lyon County Planning and Appeals Board for more discussions and possible adjustments.
In addition, commission and staff reports are scheduled as are four executive sessions, two for legal matters and two for non-elected personnel.
The meeting starts at 8 am in the County Courthouse. Emporia city commissioners are not meeting this week and won’t have a formal meeting until Jan. 8.
