Fundraising continues for the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 1980.
The band Southfork featuring Marilyn Pierce on vocals will perform at the post Saturday from 7:30-10:30 pm. There is a $5 cover charge.
The VFW has raised around $10,000 over the last two months after an apparently inadvertent failure to file tax documents with the Internal Revenue Service led to a roughly $20,000 past due amount. The documents were not filed over a four-year time period between 2014 and last year.
