(kuathletics) David McCormack scored a career-high 28 points to lead the Kansas Jayhawks to a convincing 98-57 win over UMKC Saturday inside Sprint Center.
Devon Dotson added 18 points and Marcus Garrett finished with 13 points. The Jayhawks shot 58 percent from the field and forced the Missouri Kansas City into 22 turnovers.
The victory marked the Jayhawks’ ninth-straight and improved KU to 9-1 on the year.
The Jayhawks will take part in the Big EAST-Big 12 Challenge when they travel to No. 20 Villanova next Saturday.
