The Emporia Public Library has been celebrating its 150th year of operation all year long, but the official birthday celebration is taking place Saturday.
The library will have a come-and-go party from 2-4 pm. Refreshments, games and giveaways will highlight the event.
Earlier anniversary activities this year included a speaker series, special programs and a bookmark design contest.
