(k-state) Kansas State led from the start on the way to a 86-41 win over Alabama State Wednesday night.
Xavier Sneed led all scorers with 20 points.
Freshmen Antonio Gordon and DaJuan Gordon each tallied a season-high 13 points.
K-State travels to the East Coast this weekend, as the Wildcats play Mississippi State in the fourth annual Never Forget Tribute Classic at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J. The game, which raises money for victims and survivors of the 9/11 terrorist attack, will tip off on Saturday at 10:30 a.m.
Sophomore guard Shaun Williams has left the team and placed his name in the transfer portal.
Williams played in 5 games this season averaging 3 points and 1 rebound.
He had been suspended for violating team rules earlier this season.
