Emporia State football player Jace McDown has been named an Academic All-American By the College Sports Information Directors of America.
McDown is a 2nd team selection, he was a first-team All-MIAA selection at linebacker. He maintained a 3.98 GPA as a Health and Human Performance major in his redshirt junior year.
