The Emporia State University Theater Department will once again present a holiday classic in a classic way Saturday evening.
The annual A Christmas Carol Radio drama will be happening inside the Carl C Bruder Theater at 7 pm Saturday. The annual performance presents the classic tale of Ebenezer Scrooge from a very unique perspective.
Rather than being adorned in costumes and makeup, cast members simply perform the tale as if on the radio utilizing microphones and live sound effects created by crew members on the spot. The show is free to attend, however, donations of non-perishable food items will be accepted for Corky’s Cupboard.
