The day after the Thanksgiving feast is famous for two things – eating leftovers and shopping for amazing deals on Black Friday.
The late appearance of Thanksgiving this year has not impeded locals from flocking to the Flinthills Mall in droves for the best deals of the year. Bargain shoppers came from far and wide to complete their lists.
Most people typically brave the Black Friday crowd for a couple of reasons, including Christmas shopping, outstanding sales, or they just enjoy it as a holiday tradition.
The shopping focus goes from overall sales to small local retailers with Small Business Saturday.
