Kansas Congressman Roger Marshall is making a swing through Emporia this week.
Marshall plans to visit Emporia’s Hostess production facility as part of his time in town Wednesday.
Marshall was last in Emporia in April to host a health care forum. His office has also helped to organize other forums earlier this year, including a summit on broadband Internet access in September and a forum on veterans healthcare matters earlier this month.
Marshall is one of several people running for the US Senate seat opening up when longtime Senator Pat Roberts retires at the end of his term next year.
