Sentencing has been set for early next year in an aggravated battery case which originated inside the Lyon County Jail in May.
Marcel Wamser pleaded no contest to attempted aggravated battery inside Lyon County District Court Friday afternoon according to Lyon County Attorney Mark Goodman. Sentencing in the case is set for Jan. 24 at 10 am.
Wamser was charged with aggravated battery after he allegedly attacked a second inmate as that person left the jail in May.
Wamser also has a probation revocation hearing coming Tuesday at 1:30 pm in a separate case. Case details are not available at this time.
