Messiah Lutheran Church has its 23rd annual Harvest Home Festival and Benefit Auction coming Saturday to the Fairgrounds Anderson Building.
Pastor Eddie Hosch says he’s impressed by how the congregation and community support this event.
Church elder and longtime event organizer Greg Larson says a biscuits and gravy breakfast starts things off, and there will be a host of other items up for sale through a live and silent auction as well as a flea market. The Jelly Cupboard returns, as does the Christmas Corner. The raffle list includes an autographed Patrick Mahomes jersey and an autographed Salvador Perez baseball.
Lunch and desserts will be available as well.
This is the 23rd straight year for the event. Doors open at 8 am, with the live auction starting at 10 am. Activities will continue until around 4 pm. Proceeds benefit Handlebars of Hope, Lord’s Lambs Preschool, Team Schnak, USD 252 Southern Lyon County Honor Flight and Concordia Seminary.
