The Coffey County Sheriff’s Office had a few tense hours Wednesday when K-9 Buck ran off while on assignment.
The Sheriff’s Office says Buck and his handler were working in the LeRoy area when Buck took off Wednesday evening. He was found safe Thursday.
At this time, it’s unclear why Buck took off. Other details about the case are pending.
