The Kansas Jayhawks won their Maui Invitational opener last night out scoring East Tennessee State 75-63.
Udoka Azubuike led the way with 21 points. Devon Dotson added 19 and Marcus Garrett finished with 13 points.
Coach Bill Self said there were encouraging parts of the game.
The Jayhawks improve to 3-1 for the season they will next play Chaminade in Hawaii Monday night.
