A number of Lyon-Coffey Electric customers have been told to expect a power outage Tuesday.
The outage will go from 12-6 pm, according to the company. Most of the affected customers are out of the KVOE listening area, but customers in our coverage area along US Highway 75 from BETO Junction north to Kansas Highway 278 will also be impacted.
Lyon-Coffey says the outage is needed as new 34.5 kilovolt lines are connected to the system after they were built along Old Highway 50 east of Lebo.
