Several road projects in Lyon County are either taking place later this week or are already underway.
The Lyon County Highway Department has closed Road G from Roads 330 to 340. A bridge replacement is the project in question. G could be closed for up to three months as that work continues.
Meanwhile, RES Americas will install so-called jump bridges on parts of Roads U and X on Friday. This work will close Road X between Roads 175 and 190 as well as Road U between Kansas Highway 170 and Road 260 through late afternoon Friday. The school bus route from Highway 170 going north will be affected by this project.
