An armed robbery suspect has a court hearing in Emporia on Thursday.
Harold Stewart has a motions hearing at 4 pm in Lyon County District Court.
Stewart was charged with one count of aggravated robbery after allegedly stealing money and items from the Max’s BP convenience story in downtown Emporia on February 19. Court documents say Stewart tried to buy items from the convenience store with a credit card that was eventually declined. He then allegedly came back, told the store clerk he had a gun and demanded money.
Stewart is tentatively set for a final pretrial Nov. 20 and trial Nov. 25.
