Two individuals refused medical transport following an injury accident at the intersection of Sixth Avenue and Constitution Tuesday afternoon.
Emergency personnel was called to the area following a collision between an SUV and passenger car shortly after 3 pm. Initial indications are the SUV struck the car’s side leading to north and southbound traffic being shut down in the intersection.
Two individuals, one in each vehicle, were observed on scene but refused further medical treatment. The SUV suffered extensive damage to the front end while the car received moderate damage to the passenger side.
East and westbound traffic were not interrupted by the accident.
