The Emporia State men were out scored by Arkansas Tech 79-59 Saturday. The Hornets never led in the game and trailed by as many as 23 points in the second half.
Brenden Van Dyke led the Emporia State with 15 points. Saadique Perkins added 11 and Keyon Thomas finished with 10 points.
The Emporia State men fall to 0-2 to start the season. They will host Kansas Wesleyan Tuesday in their home opener
