The Emporia State volleyball team defeated Missouri Southern in 5 sets Friday night.
The Lady Hornets won the first set 25-20.
Southern won the 2nd set 25-20.
Emporia State won the 3rd set 25-23.
Southern own the 4th set 25-18.
Emporia State won the 5th set 15-8.
Yuchen Du led the offense with 18 kills. Valerie Golder finished with 13 kills.
Jessica Hayes added 11 kills and Shelby Ebert finished with 10 kills. Emma Dixon had a team high 33 asissts.
Rylie Fornelli finished with 23 digs.
Emporia State hosts Pittsburg State Saturday afternoon with first serve at 3pm at White Auditorium.
